It’s the end of November so we bid a fond adieu to Brillig as our “Band of the
Month” [see their website here
] by playing one of our faves from their ‘electric’
period... they are doing several shows over the next few months [including a Peter Murphy support] so go see them play – they
always put on an engrossing show. And as the end of the year approaches
one tends to begin reflecting on the music that we’ve enjoyed over the past 12
months or so, such as new albums by White Fence,
Thee American Revolution, the Barbarellatones and Moon
Duo, local singles/EPs by Subtract-S
and Lady Strangelove, as well as the new
Australian Nuggets compilations... we’ll
certainly replaying more favourites as the New Year
approaches while not, of course, neglecting those of yesteryear...
