This week, it was a Brat alone on Technicolour Dreaming. But the sounds remained the same... 60’s Australian pop, garage and psych, new releases from cool Adelaide bands such as brillig and the Sea Thieves, plus a sprinkling of favourites like Joy Zipper, Kelley Stoltz and Death In June. Also, responding to requests, I played the whole of the 2nd side of the “Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake” album by the Small Faces from 1968, the ‘Happiness Stan’ saga, with narration by Stanley Unwin intertwined with its songs. And of course, I finished with the penultimate ‘Monkees Song of the Week’...
