Technicolour Dreaming

This show’s “Compilation of the Week” is a celebration of record label International Artists’ collating and releasing of the brilliant psych, garage, blues and outsider music which exploded out of Texas in the 1960’s, the best-known being that of the 13^th Floor Elevators – we speak of course of "Never Ever Land : 83 Texan Nuggets from International Artists Records 1965 - 1970", a 3-CD boxset of selections from the label’s extensive catalogue. We featured just a few of the many artists of that era including the Bubble Puppy, Lost & Found and the wonderful Endle St Cloud, but there is much more great music to be found on these discs – check them out! The rest of the show proceeded as usual with psychedelia, related music and a few odds and sods. So, until next week.....
