We began with a
track by the Green Telescope from the latest
“Friends of
the Fish” compilation put out by the wonderful Fruits
de Mer label. From thereon in, it was a mixture of new
& old with familiars & obscurities of various genres loosely associated
with psychedelia from all over the world... in short, the usual style of Technicolour Dreaming, with this week’s featured compilation being the
Psychedelic Underground Generation series of
samplers, commonly called P.U.G. and put out
by a bunch of friends and musicians in Belgium sharing their latest discoveries
from the huge number of new releases currently on offer. The samplers are free
but you are asked to investigate the bands featured further and perhaps buy
direct from those that particularly catch your fancy... most are on bandcamp so they are easily accessible. So,
